No, Pakhtuns are Pakhtuns. Do not associate the terms like Afghans and Pathans with Pakhtuns. One nation can never have two names. We are Only Pakhtuns. And Attan is synonymous to Pakhtuns, not Afghanistan or Pakistan. Both countries did not exist, but Pakhtuns and Attan did. So don't try to destroy the existing history by changing the facts to show your importance in every god damn thing associated to Pakhtuns.

well, afghan is an ethnciity as well as a nationality... so pakhtuns in pakistan are considered afghan(pakhtun) by ethnciity, according to definition, but pakistani by nationality
but hazaras, tajeks, and etc. are considered afghans by nationality..but not ethncitiy
