7th Augment or something, does not sound very Rachmaninoff. But who am i to say, Gilels Is an amazing pianist, can someone confirm ts not a mistake.
And I know this guy who's been playing since he was 4.
but no offense I think his second part completely sux. he brings out the wrong melody in my opinion and it's just... dull. but other than that, i used this version as my inspiration!
clearly there are two melodies in the second part of the second section, Gilel's brings out the lower one more, I don't see the problem with this. Maybe it could have been phrased a little clearer but it's easier said than done and his phrasing is actually very good. I just don't agree with you s3xyasiann because it sounds as if you don't accept that he shoudl bring out the lower melody and I just can't accept such a rigid interpretation.
