I did not understand what the movie was about but Ayub Ogada's Kothbiro is a Kenyan classic.

the movie is amazing. the situation perfomed in movie really forced me to think a little. But i appreciate the atmosphere of movie and unrepeatable climat... thew song is more then great

The movie was take at a traditional music festival in Portugal. This festival is international. I strongly suggest a visit :)

Don't know what to make of the video, either, other than a bunch of groovy folk enjoying life. From the liner notes of the album, En Mana Kuoyo:

I just saw THE CONSTANT GARDENER. The movie was excellent, but the incredible music of Ayub Ogada's Kuthbiro serves as sad reminder of much of the suffering that goes on in Africa.
