| YES I agree with you garzaeduardo! Diva is NOT an attitude, but a true earned 'TITLE'. And such a title as Diva should be reserved for SINGERS of this caliber. There are those that assume they are Diva's and they flaunt their ego's...but Battle is a great singer. She may have a DIVA attitude as well, and frankly..UH...well, I would polish her shoes for the privelege of being able to say thank you for her dedication. |

| Being an diva is an earned title, I agree, but does not mean you are a true BITCH to your fellow cast members and staff, which I was a part of when she was fired by the Met back in 1994. I love her as a singer, but as a person and co-worker she was a bitch and out of control, plain and simple. Diva does not mean bitch, you can be a diva without being horrible...divas don't get fired from jobs, IMO. |

| I met her in person after a concert. I worked for a hospice in Berlin and wanted her to write a note to the patients because they loved to hear her sing over the loudspeakers. She was very touched and graciously took her time to find the right words to write paying no attention to the line of people behind me. Yet all the while I couldn't help but find her terribly affectated. |
