This is far too blurry coleratura, she skips notes. I really don´t like that. I think she´s good in roles with less challanging coleratura parts, but this is just unpleasant to listen to.

What a fascinating couple, Rolando and Anna. I pity the poor souls who critizise them. O.K. you are artists and know all, but could this be sung by heavyweights -approved by highbrows like you guys- as viz. Pavarotti and Southerland and still be credible? Only in sound recordings!

i think she is amazing and i just love this song:D and to be honest you have gotto know alot about opera and music to tell if its perfect or not! And anyway perfect dosnt exsist! For someone getting into opera recently and found this excellent - what well recorded (I find old recordings tech issues often diminish otherwise amazing performances)what recordings of this opera, and what recent sopranos are known to have NAILED this piece (I'm thinking Sills, but could be wrong, and would like someone to point me to a specific recording, and hopefully a Youtube performance.

Oh God the breaths. They are HORRIBLE!!!! I just...can't take that this cow has a major international career. The coloratura is bleating. The trill? Non-existent. And those huge ugly cow breaths right in the middle of phrases. If she was plain she would have no career. Period.
