There's only seven volumes worth of books (manga) for Hitsuji no Uta, which is about equivalant to seven episodes.
This thing wasn't meant to be very long.
However, this is one of the FEW animes that barely change from the manga. I like that ^^

They kind of skimped on the animation quality, and the designs stray from Kei Toumes. They definitely got the atmosphere, and voicing, but I really wished they had a bigger budget or better studio. And everyone's hands are all child sized!
