It doesn't matter if it's a pretty goal or an ugly one, they all look the same on the scoresheet. Good things happen when you drive the net, and an overtime goal in the playoffs will blow the roof off any barn in the NHL. I didn't make it to any playoff games after this one, but I've never seen the arena as crazy as it was after that.

PEOPLE this goal had an great story behind it, it's not so much the goal, it was the importance of the game and the unlikely hero, Wallin 'the secret weapon' who scored it.

Exactly. Was it accidental? Yes. Was it a spectacular move? No. Was it scored on a breakaway by a defenseman? Yes. Was it an overtime goal? Yes. Did it win the game? Yes. I posted this goal because it was a game-winning goal in the playoffs. Every goal, every game in the playoffs is important. If you don't think so, then you don't know hockey. Don't hate the player hate the game.
