I didn't claim it to be untrue, please read again. I said it was only a question of taste. Also, Genesis' popularity is regional. Around here, Genesis prog era was much more popular.
On a singing technical point, Peter Gabriel is much better than Peter Gabrier. Peter himself stated that. Of course, Peter is an excellent composer, but he did compose a lot in their prog era.

Could somebody please explain to me what this song is about?! I know the lyrics, but after over a decade of hearing it I still can't figure out the meaning! The word "abacab" isn't even in the dictionary!
