I first heard this song as an opener at a Norah Jones concert this year where it was sung as a duet between Norah and M. Ward. You have, at the very least, met Ms. Jones with this song, if not exceeded her here. Just imagine what some live music would do! Ah, magic!

As for what the song makes me feel...well, it is certainly a visual song and one that drifts in like a breeze and brings you back to that place that is so desired...that "Blue Bayou." It's a reminder of home...and thank you for sharing your gift!

Linda Ronstadt made that song famous. She had an incredibly powerful voice with an awesome range, and she was drop dead gorgeous as well. She sang pop, country, at the Grand 'ol Opry and even Opera. I think you sang it Roy Orbison style, and sang it beautifully. You made it your own, and that's the important thing.

What a desperately terrible thing to say about someone whom I consider the greatest female vocalist that I have ever heard. If you are a vocal musician, like you are obviously purporting to be, then instead of referring to Linda Ronstadt as "that ronstadt person", you would be educating yourself on her music and career. Her resume spans all genres of music and TO THIS VERY DAY she still packs houses where ever she performs. Her vocal talent is second to none, especially yours.

I think one of the neat things about Ysabellabrave is her versatility. She does of these different styles with less than basic equipment and it comes out so well. And it seems she has entered an entertainment dimension that is somewhat different than straight audio. Many have commented on how well she engages the camera visually. Yet it is not a music video. I really like it. She makes me smile and fell good. It's that special medium onine. A new deal.
