| She's beautiful and sweet..I never had a grandmother, but she is what I think a grandmother would be, she's warm and full of fire. Can you imagine talking to her in person, all of the stories she can share about the Civil Rights moventment, great depression, JFK, MLK, Malcolm X, and so fourth and now the an African American president (techincally biracial). |

| President Elect Obama really, really needs to take photographs with 106 year old Ann Nixon Cooper immediately. One picture should be at her place and the other should happen after January 29th at the White House. | mrs cooper is amazing,i was so moved when she said she stuck in their to not only cast her vote for barack obama but to possibly see him become the first african american president,i hope shes invited to the inauguration of president obama,cause i think she's well deserved of it cause she as well as countless others actually lived and endured the hateful segregation of those times and was part of the civil rights movement herself and she's still here to witness this wonderful moment in history |
