I played at Pierce junior college. I had a very serious hip injury in high school that required surgery. Dr. subscribed me with pain killers and gave me a couple shots of steroids to heal faster. Instead of having to wait months to get back on the field, I was back in weeks. It was either miss the season or miss a few weeks. The choice was obvious. Anways, got healed up and never took another steroid shot after that. I used it for medical purpose and not for physical purpose.

I understand Darren is a great player in the sport. I love the raiders and have been a fan since i was a lil kid. but damn $60 million 6 year contract with $26 million garunteed for a player who has never stepped on the field for a pro NFL team before. Sorry if i'm kind of doubtful. Either way i hope they made the right desicion. RAIDERS 4 LIFE!!!!

I know what you mean. These numbers are getting bigger and bigger every year. The thing is though. Even if It wasn't McFadden, they still would've ended up paying this much money whoever the 4th pick would've been. If we drafted Glen Dorsey. This would've been his contract. I'm just glad that it's done so he has all the practice he needs to get ready for the season.

I'm going to miss him. He was a great person I mean, a really nice guy. My dad enjoyed coaching him at Arkansas and it's his dream of always becoming a great football player that someone looks up to and I'm thankful that he's made it this far. We'll miss him so much. Goodluck to him.

I'd honestly be willing to bet that Dorsey's contract might have been more. I'm from close to Baton Rouge where he played his college ball, not that that gives me any credit at all but I have heard he's kind of a prima-donna. Could all be jealous haters though? Just repeating what I heard.

He's definitely a rare and special athlete. I'll bet you can't wait to see him on T.V. and see him play in the pros. I'm sure you must have gone to the games and seen what he's done when the balls in his hand. I'm glad to have the opportunity to see him play on Sundays and cheer him on just like you cheered him on. I have a good feeling he's gonna take the world by storm. Alot of great running backs have played for the raiders and I'm sure he's gonna be another great one.
