lol not tryin to get anyone mad, but before people wanna start talkin crap they should start doing some homework, yea we all know jap cars are great but everyone acts like they drove 100 US brands that all broke down on them and the mechanic couldn't figure out wat was wrong with the car. i like mostly all brands my parents have a sienna limited and i luv that thing but i like my caddy catera just a tad more lol. ps lexus is toyota so i dunno why the fans would get mad

back to the topic. i could care less about your job(whether true or not). The main point is that this is only a show, an ENTERTAINMENT show(heavily biased too), like how Top gear tests other cars too. When did i say me or others should believe this?

yes you're right. Some Japanese cars are underrated, some are much Worse(JD power is customer feedback-not testing results). Same goes with US, European, Korean cars in States. But i don't think that has anything to do with toyota video here.

yes. that's good actually. Toyota is ONE of the best consumercar company today and their parts are very nice. It would be stupid not to use share some. Just like how AUDI shares Volkswagen's & Caddy shares GM's.

I have a 2001 GMC Z-71 with 646000km on original motor/trans/diff. Still uses virtually no oil and has all compression. Granted I've ran synthetics in it from day one which helps. My 16v jetta crapped out at 367000km. My North American Z-71 wins.

I have been living in Japan for some time now (I'm a Kiwi) and one of me mates is a Japanese bloke who works in the foreign car parts business. In his opinion and the people he works with they say that Toyota is overrated and some to most of them own Yank cars. They say there is some kind of mini-boom with Japanese people buying American cars these days at least in Tokyo because the quality is pretty good. Their words not mine, and I suppose they would know because it is their business to know.
