Wow. This really takes the breath away. Horne and Sutherland really had a special talent. I would say this has only been matched by Devia and Podles, and probably not again. This video is a real treasure. Where did it come from?

FANTASTIC! What a great rare video recording of these two at the beginnings of their big careers. A shame the quality of the tape has deteriorated a bit, but still a great post! Another great pairing for this duet is Horne with Caballe, especially when they both match each other with beautiful pianissimi...
