actually these people are not satisfied with their own language and they think without using english they will be reckoned illitrates. As far as i think english doesnt suit on them and they should be proud to speak their own language and even if they find it embarrasing to use their pure language they should not switch to it again and again cuz it seems ridiculous

'these people' as you put it, are completely satisfied with their language. they can all speak the 'pure language' if they want. but this is how society is in india. this is how we speak, and i don't think anyone should be allowed to make assumptions like you did without understanding the culture and the prevalent norms in the society. it's not ridiculous, it is completely normal.
