Why cant you accept that musicians have different interpertions of sonsgs. Nature Boy is a classic. Bowie;s version maybe 'opertic' but it's very haunting. And I defy you to say his vocal performance is good. Especailly at the end. Chilling

Oh for god's sake. This version of the song was not sung by David Bowie. It's by John Leguizamo , part of the cast. The theme song, however, IS song by David Bowie. But that is not this version.

I first heard this song performed by Nat King Cole, and only a few other since. Each artist expresses it from his own place, and this song lends itself so well to a variety of interpretations. I've never heard one I didn't like. But then, artistically speaking, David Bowie is beyond reproach. His courage speaks to me.
