In response to some doubts about Anwesha being better than Shreya -- just listen to her Ami Je Tomar, Grand Finale -- she covered even the difficult male part in the conclusion of the song and outshone Shreya -- who can be seen shaking her head at the end, as if saying "unbelievable" In short, Anwesha breathed life, wove magic into that one song mesmerising everybody !! Such power. She has very successfully covered a range of singers, Mudgal, Kavita K, Shreya, Sunidhi,Alks Lata, Asha, Chitra.

Yea I agree she sang way better than shreya in the finals, but her rest of the performances were not definitely better than shreya.
But yes, this kid was totally flawless and completely mesmerizing in that particular performance. The same song in one of the shows prior to finals was not as great tho.

pinezon, listen to her Barso Re Megha, Iss Mor Se Jate, and the quite difficult Hum Dil De Chuke Sanam -others. even Shreya ackowledges "her singing is the future of the industry". For a thirteen year old, I'd say she is seriously ahead. Shreya has a natural aching melting sweetness, Anwesha tops this with depth and character to the same sweet Shreya songs. Watch Shreya closely as she listens, with awe, expressions speak. Prediction: In three years time this ace kid will dominate the industry.
