the reason he was so good was he had a low level of lactic acid which causes the burn in your legs. so basically he didnt feel any pain, or at least not a much as his competitors

The problem with anti drug test are that there unreliable! Even the scientist agrre to this! Not only is it effective only in the 25% of the cases, but only skilled, veteran scientist can identified that a rider took EPO! Its not like looking for steroids or other drugs! Sadly sometimes even these scientist can make mistakes and declare the sample positive, when its really negativ! It has been proven!

I've certainly never ever heard of a single test being declared incorrectly positive. Not one. I have searched and searched, and am yet to find any such substantive evidence of anything like that happening.

...performance enhancer. They are, more usually, produced for medical/topical use away from the sporting arena. The positive effects on an athlete are an aside from the intended use.
From a non-sporting perspective, the development of these drugs is wonderful. However, the drugs are being developed and are being used by athletes illegally and unfairly, faster than tests to detect them can be developed.

You don't get it! I've heard that they made an eficincy test! A joint lab experiment with an australian an french lab! They tested pourosly "infected" samples and clena ones! The labs not noing wich samples were infected tested them! And get this they declared 2(!) of the clean samples infected and declared a a few( don't remember the number) infected clean! All in all the labs were only 25%effective! You have to understand that looking for EPO is not like looking for other drugs!...

...I can only compare EPO testing with whine tasting! Only a pro knows what is in the whine! Is something natural or not! EPO is invisible you have to go down to the mollekules to find them! And it isn even a molekule, because the natural and artificial EPO molekule looks the same! You have to look a the patterns and only an experienced and talented doctor can do that! Thats why I do not believe in the testing! It's still way to ineffective! GO Lance! I still have hope in you!

I hear what you're saying Belokki, but the results from tests such as the ones you refer have not been used in any sanctions against any riders.
As for the suggestion that the naturally- and the synthetically-produced EPO have the same molecular structure, this is incorrect.
Many of the tests have been inaccurate. However, those tests are further assisted by the fundamental composition of blood, and changes to that composition when foreign substances, such as exogeous EPO are introduced.

what people don't understand is this. If you use EPO and put it in your system; your system over a period of time stops producing its on EPO; Same with Creatine. So when you hear about people who know a pro rider who got busted and then tryed to make a comback without the drugs and it was impossible; you have to think about the guys body system. His body wasn't producing EPO anymore in the quantity that it used to; ala he had fucked his shit up.
