i had one today just ask your dosctor to insert more novacaine or anesthesia whenever it hurts i got shot 3 and a half time and im fine its not bad at all just think about what turns you on :)

well i had root canal done today! wasnt too bad but my dentist didnt use a rubber barrier or a clamp he just went straight in and made the whole in my tooth and began filing the roots

no worries bro, it will be sore after wards but with the hydros they give you, well lets just say, you'll be ok. I had a real bad infection and it hurts so bad but, mine has been bad for like 4 years and rotting out so they REALLY had to dig. Yeah I just got it done this moring so it does hurt right now but my pills should kick in soon.

Well after two attempts a root canal, they are going to pull my tooth with my wisdom teeth in January. It will not freeze. due to the infection.

i had my first and hopfully last canal done yesterday and it was horible i cant descrfibe the pain that i felt. i dont think my dentist knew what he was doin cause he kept sayin..."im sorry these are just so hard to do!!" but im sore now but i does feel a hell of a lot better..word of advice for everyone ...take care of your teeth i wish i had!!!

i had one at age 18 and it was the worst the doc did tap the tooth and that hurt like hell 3 shots of drugs didnt do shit that drill was the worst this was in 95 and they claim its so painless now but after hearing some of yall aint jack change all that much

I just got 1 of 4 I need done, yesterday, and it wasn't bad @ all. I go back in tomorrow to get started on the molars. And I'm going to a Dental school to get all this done.
The reason is might hurt worse for some ppl, is because A.) the pain can depend on how badly infected the tooth is
B.) Some ppl have a higher pain tolerance than others
C.) You need to more novacaine. If it's hurting during the procedure, U NEED TO TELL THEM. It's not supposed to hurt.

ugh, i have to get one in 4 days. I'm scared but watching this and reading the comments below are helping me cope with my anxiety lol.
