Yeah, you're right. Some of their songs (like this one) simply don't sound as metal.

Or perhaps you're just too used to listening to watered-down music for the masses such as Slipknot or Lamb of God. Just because it's technical or because they implement unique time signatures doesn't mean to say that they are in any way "less metal".

Except all it takes to write rap is a sample stolen from another song (Ice Ice baby is stolen from a Queen song) and three or four verses. Ask a guitarist to play this song, and they'll look at you like you are crazy. This kind of music take incredible musical skills to even play, let alone write.
