Really the first full-fledged boss, Tret has an arsenal of strong Psynergy attacks and a good amount of HP to boot. Employing the instant-summoning strategy technique (as I did) works nice. Do note that you do not receive the benefits of using Djinni this way. You don't really need those effects too much in this fight, though, really.
Elven Rapier already? What?
Yes. An incredible tool for blowing through the Wind-weak forest, you can obtain the Elven Rapier by heading towards Bilibin Cave /before/ the Kolima Forest part instead of after. You will need to either make Isaac or Garet a Brute or Isaac a Seer in order to get the Growth Psynergy required to climb the sprout.
