you would be surprised how many users have passwords like that. or write them down on a sticknote and stick it to the monitor or the keyboard...
a security nightmare... everytime i see that i want to slam my head on the keyboard.
Clues: "Why do I have to use an outside line to call you?" (answer he is using AOL), rebooting his computer, seeing the server running, and the website is coming up on my screen. He should have figured its the sales guy's computer and should have done a remote access from the beginning. Obviously the IT guy was more into Halo than the call plus the 'give-a-shit' attitude didn't help; it cost the company time/money.
