130 miles about 190 degrees out of Orange Beach, AL. Around the Independence Hub. Oh, and catching a bluefin in 5,000 feet of water is much different then catching them on the East Coast. I promise you we had the max amount of drag on her the whole time(100lb test).

What an awesome video, great team effort, congrats on the win. Largest I ever caught was a 145lb bluefin in Cape Hatteras and what a fight it was, cant imagine what it was like when this monster started peeling.

kind of a raritey in the gulf.. i love hearing about big bluefin coming back maybe.. i heard about a 900lb bluefin caught on a weedline busting bait about 25 miles out of venice LA..I believe it was the largest fish ever caught on rodnreel in the gulf
