I'm a lover for the english cars ! A big respect for the french companies. A big passion for the japanese & I love driving swedish & american machines.
For Italy, Alfa Romeo, Lancia & De Tomaso... so astonishing. I'm not perfect, but I repeat, germans can do a great cars, with no soul like the britains & no passion like italians.

laws of physics my friend..... they did not sacrifice the luxury, such as weight cd , ac , and others hermes designed the interior. the aero is like the porche gt3 which is engineering but the have no ac. no air condition dude and the are very light. bugatti is a heavy car and speeding in it seem like u speeding in a regular car. not a supercar like if u make a mistake, u can crash or die. it has 4 wheel drive dude the aero doen't

The scariest thing i find about the Bugatti is the brutal acceleration. 0-60, 0-100, 0-150, they all seem to be the same! You can go from 0 to warp speed 7 in about 14 secs with the 1000hp... no other car can do that. Awesome engineering...i can believe it beat the Cesnera :-) And i can believe JC's disappointment... What I'd give for one 0-200mph run in that thing.....:-D Peace, guys! Laters :-D

there are many cars that can accelerate faster than the Veyron... get a Hennesey Viper, a Lingenfelter Corvette, the SSC Ultimate Aero... there's this guy in England who has a Vauxhall Victor with a twin turbo 9.something liter engine that puts out 2400hp.. results? 0-60 1 second, quarter mile in about 7.8 seconds.
A Formula 1 car will put the Veyron to shame up to a certain point... they can do 0-150 in 6 seconds!!!

if you make a mistake in any speeding car, you are very likely to end up in the ditch. the Lamborghini Murcielago and its variants also have 4wheel drive and everyone knows how dangerous it is to make a mistake in one of those at high speed... 4-weel drive isn't the safest thing since seat belts were invented, they may help you in certain situations, but don't think you can be a spaz at the wheel while speeding in any 4-wheel drive car, truck or SUV.

the chief reason the Veyron is so heavy is the fact that it was designed and produced in a bad way from the very beginning (for more info, check out Gordon Murray's review on the Bugatti Veyron because he explains it better than I do:)
if you look at the Carrera GT and the Mclaren-Mercedes SLR, the SLR has more luxuries and a big trunk, but it is not almo st a ton heavier than the Carrera GT. The Veyron's weight problem is not just the extra luxuries that the Ultimate Aero doesn't have...

haha you think you know some much about this...u dont know ANYTHING. No street legel car can accelerate faster than the veyron. And no the SSC Ultimate Aero does 0-60 in 2.78 which is slower than the veyron. All the hennesey and lingenfelter and 2400hp are all drag cars. Check your sources before posting next time.

This one guy in England who has the 2400hp Vauxhall Victor picks up his boy from school in it!!! It's road legal and it cost him a total of about 100,000 British Pounds!!! that's 1/8 the cost of the Veyron and it would leave a formula 1 car in the dust in a straight line!!!
This rich guy in the Arabian Penninsula drag raced a Veyron against the Ultimate Aero and the SSC pulled ahead by a car length in first gear!

srry Christoo92,the vauxhall is in australia not england. and power/weight ratios dont matter as much as you think. the mosler mt900s red devil has 1800hp and half the weight of the veyron but they do same 0-60 times, so aerodynamics matter more. but the amazing thing about the veyron is not only its speed but also the attention and passion they put into each car. anybody can modify a victor to have 2400 hp with money. and the veyron is haevy which makes it more amazing that it can go that fast.

I know Vauxhall is an Australian. This guy in England had one and he customized it huge V8, twin turbos, 2400hp. Sure, they launch the same 0-60... a formula 1 car does not launch 0-60 much faster than the Veyron, but once they get going fast enough and the downforce starts working, they will eat a Veyron in a straight line 0-150= 6secs. The Moslers may launch the same, but would likely pull ahead later on, when power/weight ratios really matter.

I only used the example of the Formula 1 car to show that power/weight ratios are not as important in a 0-60 test than they are when cars are traveling at higher speeds.
