Well first off it is just a song, it did not nessisarilly happen, I am a songwriter and not all of my songs are based on things that have happened to me. But according to the lyrics, yes he walked in on his woman with another man. My interpritation is like Brandy's, starting the song he is more sad. The bridge to the lead shows a little anger, but in the end he is back where he started whoooo it must be magic... and he is back to being sad.

As far as I didnt need to see his face I saw yours. It did not matter who the man was. His refferance to "I saw yours" does not mean I know it was you cause I saw your face. It is that he saw the look on her face enjoying another man. That face he will never get out of his mind, and for that he can never be with her again, because he will always see that face or that look as she lusted for another. And at the moment he saw it he new they would never be together again and that made him sad. Whoa!

WELL Thankfully I can say I am not the huge Warrent fat I mean fan that you R. True Story? Please! Exact phrase? "This is a true story" Sounds a little hokey for Jani. I am sure he is a little cooler than you are. He actually wrote it in the third person perspective as if he was in his girlfriends shoes. From what I hear he likes wearing heels.

It was about a guy in love with a girl and he goes to see her and she's with another guy. So he gets mad and instead of confronting them he walks away sadly with a broken heart. Lastly the last part of the chorus indicates that she had a look of love on her face so he knew doing anythign was a waste because she didn't love him back.
