He is driving like he's on dirt not tarmac. Fun, but slow in a road race.
"Driving correctly" Urquattro would smoke Golf, Gti, R32, or any vw for that matter. Even gives an S1 a run for the money.

Yeah well you obviously dont know about that "golf", it only has a golf shell, everything underneath is pure Audi rally stuff, the best of the best. That urquattro was running ~700hp, back when this was filmed in 2001, the Audi Golf RSI was pushing ~830hp

The Golf's suspension is much stiffer so it is more stable in the corners plus it's much more powerful so The quattro doesn't stand a chance !This Audi is a nice car though!

That Golfs a beast, it was more a racing line + quattro's crowd pleasing tho. They dyno'd the Golf RSI years ago and it made 550-600 at the wheels @ about 6k then kept jumping off it, think the redline was set about 8-8.5k!!

this is not an s1. its an ur quattro. in the days an s1 got two engines, one with 595 bhp and one 895 bhp to rivel with the peugeot in the group b. id like to see the golf beat that one even with 900 bhp.
