As we age, our tastes and interest change. I'm sure this will happen to future generations. We go through different phases in our lives, as kids we enjoyed our toys & coloring books. We outgrew this, our main interests were the opposite sex, music & hanging with our friends. We found that special someone, settled down & got married & had kids. Then comes retirement & grandkids. If you enjoyed the same activities as you did when you were a teenager, I'd say something is wrong.

I do prefer the version by The Lettermen, but Andy Williams acquits himself very nicely. For me, I think it comes to how well the three members of The Lettermen harmonize together.

Well, musical tastes change a bit over the years. For example, I couldn't stand any of The Rolling Stones' stuff when I was younger but now I find tracks like "Get Off My Cloud" are ok. This version of "Theme From 'A Summer Place'" will NEVER fall out of favour with me, neither will Percy Faith's instrumental version. I love both and always will. When I was younger I disliked most "Easy Listening" stuff, thought it was cheesy and old-fashioned. Many years later I find I'm liking some of it!
