Aragall good in his time, Carreras poor vocal capacity and not technique at all , that´s the reason he couldn´t sing anymore.Placido forcing the high notes, not a tenor.Publicity and not more.Pons was also good, the soprano and mezzo wore off.

Ademas si Alfredo hubiera participado al unisono,aun con mucha mas edad que los otros dos tenores (carreras, placido), los habria borrado del mapa con su impecable tecnica.Carreras de hecho se vio casi obligado a invitar a Kraus a participar brevemente en la inauguracion, cantando una muy breve cancion ¨del cabello ma sutil¨.
