I disagree. While I do have a religion, I disagree quite a bit with the thinking of the PEOPLE of my religion, not the religion's teachings itself. I don't fall into the category you describe, I don't "want answers without wanting to think", in fact I think that's stupid. I am a Christian for myself, a personal thing with God. And I do not think He would forbid me listening to black metal, despite whatever petty disagreements a priest or haever might have.

And i realize now that my statement was slightly generalized. People like you are the intelligent sorts that should be leading spiritual movements. I personally am an atheist, but i really don't have a problem with spirituality. Religion, however, is quite a different story. 98% of the people involved in religion are not like you, and embody exactly what i described earlier, and that is why i believe religion will eventually collapse in on itself and die out (along with it being disproven).

Yeah, that was the word i was looking for, spirituality. I understand where most atheists are coming from, and the reasons behind it, as opposed to simply dismissing them as "misguided" or "wrong' like most other religious people would do. I may disagree with something, but I only disagree after finding out everything I can about what I am labelling as "wrong" to me, and i believe that is the fair thing to do.I agree with what you're saying in this comment though.
