I love her explanation of the poses as being always in motion, and the arms and back as breathing. Ballet is much more than wind-up dolls or evil demon swans; it is about grace and breath, and requires motion. Dancers need to bend and move; always in control, but always alive.

this is a GREAT video. such rare insight into such a great ballerinas style. she's SO adorable talking about the different epaulment and port de bras. she makes perfect sense, just like her dancing.
