Does anyone know any good websites/channels/videos for learning irish sign language? or is ther much differenc between irish sign and british sign??

Hello there!
Well, as with all British Sign Languages, there are similarities but there are also 'accents' (Regional variations) according to where you live! Same as in Liverpool and Manchester, the spoken accent would be different.
The best starting point would be the BritishSignLanguage Learners Forum (I will message you separately with the contact for this) and they will point you in the right direction!

Thanks for lesson. Recently started to work in special needs and want to learn signs etc which is very boring from a book. Just wanted to say that you are very engaging and quite beautiful too which makes you easy to follow. Sorry if that's sexist or anything. Do you do makaton cos it would be very useful to learn some.

do you know where i can find a website where i can learn some BSL signs? (thank you for teaching me the alphabet by the way) I know a lot of Deaf people and signers but we all use ASL, but i would love to learn BSL! Especially since i would love to visit your country one day!

there are lots of different Sign languages, just like there are many different spoken languages - you will find that most countries have their own or are similar to ASL or BSL.

I Learn New Zealand Sign Language, which is a kind of blend between the two, but also with its own uniqe signs and structure, only really useful if you live in New Zealand tho :)

I prefer American fingerspelling over the British. It's one handed which makes it much more convenient and versatile. BSL fingerspelling is fun to learn, though.
