What a saga of a bank doing me wrong... Bounce check fees on late deposits, mysterious limbo holds on money, non-chronological withdrawals (they take out what they want, largest to small to bounce as much as possible) and so on. Several hundred dollars later, without so much as a "gee we appreciated your business" i closed the accounts, one of which they refused to saying there was another limbo hold and now i cannot access it to print the info anymore but i filmed it. NO BOUNCED checks and no credible explanation. AND they withheld a cash deposit for 48 hours further complicating the situation. What stories do you have? As this was happening I started hearing all sorts of bank ripoff stories, charging fees for BS. TELL TELL.

heres an idea....get overdraft protection....most people dont realize that their debit card gets them into trouble. it can take up to 2 days for a debit card purchase to hit your accout...thats where all the fee's come into play....OR EVEN ABETTER IDEA...USE A CHECK REGISTER!!!!

I had the same issue with other banks. I am pretty sure that you could be helped by calling customer service or going into a branch. It is also free to have overdraft protection using a credit card or alternate account.

Any time of day or night whenever you deposit cash into ATM, the bank will post as "holding" and cash will be avaiable next business day. The only way the cash can be avaiable right on the spot is cash deposit with the human teller.

I remember the first time, I deposit the cash to teller and it post right away for avaiable. But couple weeks later I deposit cash at ATM and is not availble until next business day.

If you have payroll check with Wachovia business account, you do not have to pay fee for cash at Wachovia. But if payroll check from other non-Wachovia bank and cash at Wachovia then the fee is apply.

Yes, it was a payroll check with Wachovia and Nevertheless, I still had to pay the $5 UNLESS I opened up an account with them. Hmmmmmmm in afterthought

well I'm surprise that an adult like yourself didn't look at your check register to see what your true balance was available for you to continue using your checking account. If you did you would have not incurred any fees. Is much easier to pass the buck for your negligence on keeping up with your register.

go to walmart or grocery store and cash it then.take the issue to your employer-there are programs for them so that their employees don't incur the $5 unless they don't want to eat the $5 themselves.

my country bum-fuck bank just did the same thing to me, bounced $536 in checks cuz they held my funds transfer for 3 days that would have covered the checks. I dont think it's just Wachovia, this seems like a industry standard... jerks.

I use a check register... even with my debit card and I NEVER overdraft my account. Its simply math... add and subtract what you spend ... add and subtract what you deposit and withdraw.
