I just purchased the book, Satanic Verses and am reading it now. He is a wonderful writer and a very courageous man. It is high time that the Muslim community begins to understand free speech and that speaking out against one's religion is not grounds for violent retaliation or doing physical harm to others. It's ludicrous in this day and age that a person has to live in hiding because they have written a book! Do Muslims realize how barbaric it is to call for the death of a person for this?
