bueno tambien era pesimo pavarotti como actor y mira, colocó las notas y mostró como sempre buen dominio de la voz, ella no grita sino imposta la voz, lo que parece suceder es que tiene una voz poderosa y los agudos le salen muy en vibrato y eso es lo que el sonido es, una belleza de voz bien usada al milímetro, pienso yo claro.

I agree with you, Tebaldi is a lot better.
Caballe's voice is not very steady here,
it is not her bag. Still a beautiful voice.
She lacked Passion.

I think her is fine. Sounds not as good as Callas version, maybe your ears are not used to the recording techniques. I think the microphone should backward a little, then would be fine.

I don't like her enterpretation ,not comparable with the superb Callas .Although I do like Montserrat's singing a lot, she is definitly not "The CALLAS".With all my respects for M.Caballe.

Io penso che in confrontazione, la Callas è incomparabile cantando quest'aria. Perdonate, ma non parlo Italiano, la bella lingua del Dante. Io penso che la piú grande versione è quella della Callas, doppo Tebaldi.

Callas has often been accused of overextending her voice by singing too many roles that make different demands. Caballe has also sung virtually everything under the sun, with mixed results. She does make a decent effort here, but her tone is perhaps too pretty and refined, too bel canto to convey the intense emotion needed for this aria in verismo style. Callas is supreme and untouchable in this particular piece; even Tebaldi suffers by comparison. Perhaps Muzio and Olivero come closest.

definitivamente el verismo no es lo suyo, no hay nada más que fijarse y no salir huyendo al escuchar el inicio del aria con la mamma morta inicial dicho con horrendo registro grave, para nada se la puede comparar a Callas o Tebaldi. Es sólo una curiosidad en su carrera ,nada más.Por esos años ya estaba definitivamente deteriorado su instrumento.

vous devriez écouter d'autres choses que youtube, bien sur qu'il y a de meilleures versions. Mais Caballé a beaucoup d'enregistrements superbes "y compris , de la mamma morta". Bien sur qu'on ne peut pas comparer Callas Tebaldi et Caballé, seulement des "ignorants" peuvent le faire. les trois étaient superbes cantatrices.
