Ok, can everyone please not mention AFI and tokio hotel in the same breathe ever again? they are not in the same league as AFI. That being said, AFI ARE SELLOUTS! Some of you might say that I wasn't a TRUE fan to being with, but thats not true. I just don't like it when a band that I've loved for a long time just decides that I don't matter and abandons their base of loyal fans. Sorry, I'm kinda sensitive to the whole betrayal thing.

It wasn't betrayal at all. It was a band evolving with time and their music evolving with time. AFI did not want to continue to do the same thing, people get influenced in different ways and they gradually changed their sound. At the core it is still AFI so take it or leave it but don't say that this great band is forgetting about you or selling out because it is their own decision to try new things.
