First of all the Nile flows from SOUTH to NORTH not from the Med southward! If you don't know that you don't know ANYTHING! The Nile begins in the Great Lakes region of central Africa (that's around Uganda!) and then flows northward, emptying into the Med. That's the way waterways work. From a main stream, terminating in smaller tributaries and streams.
