UNICEF's Tap Project
Pershkrimi videos:On World Water Day, March 22, 2007, hundreds of restaurants in New York City invited customers to donate just $1 for the tap water they usually enjoy for free. All the money raised through the Tap Project helps UNICEF save lives by providing safe drinking water to children around the world. Thanks to every restaurant, customer, donor, and organization who contributed to the Tap Project and helped make the first year a success! The Tap Project will be in cities across the country in March 2008. Stay tuned for updates.

At this rate of procreation there will be no clean fresh water or land for other animals that share this world with us! who the fuck are they to help someone who will not contribute their living on this world?! You see, this helping all around brought us to this point of high procreation without seeing all the consequences of it, so stop helping! (there is no such thing as free meal or shouldn't be)
People who can't take care of themselves need to be weeded out. That goes for whole nations too.

without immigration, the population in america is decreasing. at a rate that is possible to live comfortably, tougher immigration standards and education around the world would solve many problems. its slowed down the population boom in india, EDUCATION!

When we support these people, were just perpetuating the problem. And they will NEVER return the favor.
Were supporting a gene pool of people who live on a continent that if it somehow hypothetically noone had ever discovered it...it would be 2008 and they would still be throwing spears at eachother.
Colonialism has already taken it's toll on many people around the globe, it's far too late to say that now we should step back and do nothing. We have already stepped in and done something (though usually the wrong thing)
American standard of living is not possible for everyone in the globe, you are right about that. However a better standard of living is possible.
The point is UNICEF is doing a good thing, so don't knock them for it
Although, I heard that traces of prescription drugs were found in the tap water. I saved it in my 'favorites'.
But I'm still grateful to have access to drinkable water in our country. And I support those organizations doing their part to provide clean water to other countries.
