This is why the anime industry in general is failing in North America, Even if you buy the animes you like and just turn it all to the subs it helps. ADV itself is practivally going under and PPD is one of the animes that lost its license and is limited to stock on hand at most places.

Naruto, Bleach , Dragonball Z. Those main stream show dont do anything for the real anime market. A true anime fan buys his or her anime to own the box. Of course it's hard when some people cant afford it. Just because it's a short show doesnt mean you cant enjoy owning the series all clear quality on a tv screen compared to youtubes crap small screen.

No, the industry does not get enough money off of popular series such as the one's you've listed. The fact of the matter is, every time someone subs anime and puts it up on youtube or similar sites, or takes the dub and uploads it, the company loses a lot of money. It doesn't matter how long a series is, many people put hard work into the making of it. The least you could do is show you support them and pay up for watching it.

u no i agree with u all the way but if it really was a problem they would do somthing about it and remove the vid from utube so no i dont think they care this is like free advertising for them example if peoeple like the show but hate the crap vid quitlity they will go buy the nice 1 off the internet/store so no i think this "dubbing/uploading" is a good thing for out anime "community" lol oh and if u think im a bad speller deal with it -.-

why watch the english dub of this or any other anime, the japanese voices make it 10 times funnier and subs aint that hard to read. Also streaming sites arent that hard to find jst google them, watching anime on youtube is pointless

Your not real bright are you? English is good becuase you dont need to read the subtitles and for english speaking people that's a good thing to concentrate on the show and not the subtitles. Watching it off the web is far less quality then a DVD release and you dont get the cool extra's. It's you people who watch the jap/english releases of anime on the web who are ruining the market.

I myself do like the japanese better, but that's just me.
I sometimes don't like that the voices don't mach the character or the translation is off. That's why animes that also have and english seires, I can watch both and totaly understand it. =3

Don't patronise me, the market was ruined that second dubbing was introduced, if the voice actors were good it would be that bad, but there terrible. I've seen dubs of great anime like Bleach, Naruto and Azumanga and I have been disgusted by what they have been turned into. You say I'm not bright you can't even concentrate on two thing at once, all your doing is one big fuck you to the japanese voice actors who have talent. (cont..)

You know what I'm sorry that it has got to a point where orignals don't mean anything anymore. It's just more thing for america to ruin for the rest of us, make there own...aaahhh well it all your own fault your missing out on the good stuff, not all of you tho theres still hope and i dont just mean in anime. Your forgiven. I understand that people dislike dubs but it's the only way we english speakers can watch it.. I dont mind reading on subs but I dont want to have to do it all the time. And yes the english dont fully grasp the japanese humour but it's a tricky thing. From all the interviews i've seen from directors most try hard to get as much real content back into the show as possible. This show came with a booklet telling you about the jokes.
