Excuse me? It's simply a fact, and knowing the aria its not something I looked for, it's something that I noticed upon listening. I'm not bashing her technique, which is stupendous, but I can critique. Calm down!

If you couldn't care less about my technique, then why are you so persistent? Any who, I looked back on it with my score, and only found a couple mistakes, I guess I may have mistaken and mislead with the term tons. Forgive me father for I have sinned!

There´s no mistake in the words. Singers accomodate them in a way so it works better with there voices, especially when there´s coloratura and sometimes the scores have mistakes. Anyway, you didn´t tall me where the mistakes are and that´s what I´ve been asking.

The ones I found when I re looked were 2:44, She says Sinor instead of Finor, and another area where she says Si instead of Qui, I forget the time on that one; but yes, the former could very well be a mistake on my score.

She's exquisite. Sourgrapes: the only instance of variation I saw was that she does appear to say "sinor" instead of "finor." Let's stop the bickering and just enjoy!

I might add that there's a clip of Bartoli singing this aria, posted here on youtube by bigpinkypig, in which it also appears that Bartoli sings "sinor" not "finor."

She was always one of my favorites. Saw her in Paris in Opera Bastille singing Lucia di Lammermoor. This opera is quite boring, but she was AMAZING! it was a real dream come true to see her on stage!

This is an old-fashioned performance of the aria in the best sense of the word, the way a Sembrich or a Tetrazzini might have ornamented it, and tastefully done. Anderson also gives meaning to the words and hits some dazzling high notes. I believe I have a recording of this Paris concert, in which she is in top form throughout.
