Tarver needs to shut the fuck up!, he was a nobody before he fought Jones!, Roy made him a celebrity, & Roy's boxing skills SURPASS Tarver, all Tarver did in his fights was fight like he was scared, & you can see he was scared too, when Tarver fought Bernard Hopkins, he was talkin' all that shit about knockin' Bernard out in the 5th, callin' himself a "legend killa", yeah right nigga!, in the prefight interview, Bernard kept it real & said if Tarver comes forward, he gets knocked out lol...

i think only reason why tarver won was first the dramatic muscle weight loss, the age of jones and his particular style of fighting at that time. Tarver's record isnt amazing the people that have faced both tarver and jones they usually do much better against tarver, B-hop beat him, clinton woods was Ko'd by jones but tarver barely won. This is the reason why tarver isnt that famous why he isnt fighting calzaghe and why hes always goin to be overshadowed by jones

Tarver will always be overshadowed by Jones because he doesn't have the record Roy has, he hasn't been fighting as long as Roy has, & Tarver just isn't impressive at all, & his cocky attitude & big mouth got him punched in his mouth by Hopkins & Jones, if Tarver was to fight Calzaghe, Calzaghe would beat his azz just from his hand speed, after Jones fights Calzaghe, Tarver needs to fight him, & Bernard needs a rematch.

I think calling Tarver Ken Norton is a better equation than calling him Buster Douglas. Douglas would have gotten destroyed by Tyson in a rematch. Tarver fought Jones again (after knocking him out in the 2nd round) and destroyed him. Some also argue he won the first fight and say he won when they were amateurs. He's not better than Roy, he's just a guy Roy couldn't handle. I'm so right about this by the way.
