Dumbourgeois Well that was a different time. Columbus did have a motivation to explore, and get rich. And people say it was at the expense of the Natives. You have to take everything in history in a case by case situation. I do not feel that all the natives were victims. They did get a bad deal. However if you want to compare Columbus's story to todays world with globalism, rich elites have the same plan to screw the poor and the common man. So there you go!!

Natives WERE victims..if not from Columbus, it's to their own openess. If they knew then what they know now, they wouldn't have greeted Columbus so openly. Bad deal...death in numbers greater than the halocost is not any kind of deal at all. Too bad the Indians then didn't get severence pay or medical care for their amputated limbs. Nor was there court settlements from the raping and genocide. I guess you can't give reperations to a group of indians that doesn't exist anymore.
