Verizon does have a RAZR2, the V9M, its jut not gold, but the gold looks tacky IMO, not classy as they wanted it to be.

I have the RAZR2 V8, Pearl Grey.
It looks much more classy and smart, i think the gold is tacky. I am extremely happy with the performance and would recommend anyone to buy this phone xx

I bought this phone from a supplier in China...it came with the gold box but the labelling from the box is different than what I see online...It doesnt have the Razr2 logo along with the luxury edition print...it says RAZR V8 Gold Classic Edition...The phone looks exactly the same as this phone...The firmware as well...anyone got an idea if the phone i got is a fake one...

I've owned the original RAZR V3, RAZR V3i, and now own the RAZR2 V8 and love the phone...best quality, nicest looking phone out there IMO. Motorola designs great phones! Can't wait for the RAZR3 in the first quarter of 2009!)

I have a dark pearl grey one and like it to. Beware - I have had a hairline crack in the right hand side of the phone near the smart key pointed out to me. It is very hard to notice because of the colour. Know of 5 people that have the same problem. No warranty as they say "accidental damage". Phone has never been dropped. Any one else having this problem?
