also i would like to point something out, in September 2003 the US stated that the US had around 800 wounded troops (slightly less)
Foreign observers reported seeing around 6000 getting taken away for medical reasons.
if the US is lying about the amount of wounded soldiers, why should anyone believe what they have to say about amount of soldiers killed?

Yeah, every casualty the US takes is well documented. You can look into it. Our dead are announced every week, so I think a few families would notice if we didn't announce their loved one's death. depends what kinds of casualties. the US doesnt qualify the deaths of mercenary groups such as blackwater as casualties. awakening councils are also not reported. and besides, in my last comment i mentioned unreported wounded Americans (whos names the US doesnt mention as far as i know) not American deaths

Your statistic gathered by "foreign observers" seems barely reliable. These are possibly non-combat related. You are right that mercenary groups are not listed in the military counts. They account for themselves as they are private groups, and I think casualties for them is probably pretty high. Awakening Councils? Those are Sunni Iraqis.
