Punjab Lok Sujag is an organization working for the social uplift of people of Punjab.
Iodine deficiency diseases are common and dominate the Public Health scene in Punjab. Depalpur (district Okara) office of Punjab Lok Sujag has taken up this major issue of the public interest some years ago. We have not only created awareness through puppet and theater about the disease, treatment and the prevention etc. but ensured the availability of the Iodized Salt at the right price also by establishing a brand and processor of Iodized Salt "Arshad Tay Mustafa de Suchi Chakki". The work is well appreciated by national and international monitors and rated as "The only replicable project in Iodine Deficiency Diseases in Pakistan". The film is in two parts.
