That depends on what interviews you've seen with Zhang Ziyi. Honestly, they have the same English-speaking abilities, but there's two distinct differences between them. Zhang Ziyi was born in the Mainland, Leong Isabella wasn't. Since Hong Kong was under British rule for quite a while, people in Hong Kong speak a lot more English in their language than the Mainland people of China do. Leong Isabella definitely has a Cantonese, Hong Kong accent.

On the other hand, Zhang Ziyi has an intense Mandarin accent. After she did Rush Hour 2, however, she started learning English, but it was mainly on her own time. It took her much longer, but she was fluent in English (although not grammatically perfect) when she began her work on Memoirs of a Geisha. My ex-girlfriend had the same accent as Leong Isabella, except not as American-influenced. She had a more British sounding accent. She's officially British.

yea..obviously she prepared and rehearsed for answers for a few typical questions at home, and regardless of what the question really is, she delivered what she rehearsed for.

I like her so far...I don't know why the stars in HK don't seem to like her. I don't think she did well in this interview but it takes time to be good. I have to give her credits for talking slowly. Unlike Maggie Q she talks so fast, her laugh is annoying and her body moves a lot while she's talking.

This movie was great, non stop action, breath taking scenes, and some humors. Everything was well balanced. I will give two thumbs up for this one.
