I would be inclined to say yes but I think the palm is a very good OS also. I think the main downfall for palm is blazer. bottom line the setup is slow.

IE is fast, oh boy is it fast. I must say I get a lot ore done with IE and even just leisure browsing is now more of a pleasure. Also I wanted a OS that would fit my needs' such as wifi connectivity for when I can't get evdo or simply need better download speeds. in the games dept there pretty equal. im finding a crap load of games for the pocket pc. its all about what u need.

i recently made the exact same upgrade - treo to HTC PPC6800.
i am very impressed with the phone, does everything I want and more. I do notice it lacks in the RAM, after I get a couple of applications running it starts to slow down a bit faster than my old treo 700wx.

go to sprints website.. check out the plans.. see what works for you. Also try neighboring websites, like verizon cingulair.. see what they offer. then see if you qualify for a discount. with my discount i pay 69.

This is supposed to be dual core unit, so the phone calls doesn't bog down the performance of the unit itself. How is the performance in total when browsing with that? I also heard it's a spring based sliding mechanism for sliding out the screen to reveal the keyboard. No importance with that, just wondering how it feels.
