Beyond doubt a great vocalist reaching the mastery and perfection of living legends of Indian classical vocal music. His handling of Raga Hansadhwani is unique - combining its original character as displayed in the music of the South. Also he briefly dwells beautifully upon the uncharted regions of the Raga without spoiling its original character - not an easy task; can only be handled by a great master. I can think only of Pundit Bhimsen Joshi. Please keep it up.

excellent rendering of hansadhawani...he is always at ease with his approach towards the phrases in the raga. This makes the entire experience of listening the Ustadji one of its kind.

The same raga when played in Carnatic tradition sounds so different! Very few people in Hindustani style have rendered this raga, Pandit Shiv Kumar Sharma's rendition is one of the most brilliant.
Surprisingly only one film song has been composed on thisd raga by Chitragupta " Jaa tose nahi bolo kanhaiya" sung by Lata and Mannadey.

this Raga without being familiar with its

The heart fills with so much of peace after hearing this...Such a beautiful raag..just note the sensual play of Pa and Ga in this raag..Thank you Ustad Ji for preserving our cultural music..thanks to kishoriray for bringing in this clip to Youtube and helping spread our golden heritage..We all look forward to more such postings from you!

Thank God that Carnatak Music tradition passed this beautiful raag to Hindustani Music: Khayal music.
This is the kind of fusion I like: not Indian melody with Western Percussion.
Or Surauya's song with Mallika's vulgarity.
