Well first off, Indie ain't no genre. Most bands that are called indie have very little to do with each other musically. But some similar sounding groups to the ones you mentioned are: Broken social scene, Modest Mouse (both early and new, but I'm obsessed), Elliott smith, Built to spill. Actually, most of those bands don't sound similar, that's just what I got started on. Also: I would expect more maturity out of some of the people here, Calling someone a fag? Bah. Stop hatin'.

This band, Wolf Parade, has always been recommended to me based on my musical taste. On a whim I brought At Mount Zoomer a few weeks ago and have not regretted it since! Subsequently, I ended up getting the whole lot. Such brilliant music !
