Mrs.Pahlavi either did not know what was going on in Iran prior 1979 or she just doesn't want to speak the truth? A simple question to her Majesty would be enough: Was the shah a dictator or not?! was there political freedom under the shah?? Killing kurds seaking their national rights is not freedom mrs.Pahlavi!
If the shah was a real dictator, I think for him as dictator killing as many Iranian witch demonstrate against him shouldn't be a problem, But as we all know he chose to leave Iran and don't kill Iranian,
And if he was a dictator the best thing for him was to give order to kill Khomeini in the first chance he get, but he didn't.
His vision was to glorify Iran and Iranian.

Well the Mullahs in Iran did not come to power by elections. so, it was not the Shah who let them take power!! As to Iran, it seems to me you still don't know what is "Iran". Iran is a geographic term. In 1924 the father of the shah used it as politics and named the country Iran. Politics change and political borders change. Iran is doomed and will be finished in a very short time. 5 nations with nothing in common among them.
we had Moslem, Jew, Bahai, Armenian Christian, and Zoroastrian, It was no difference between them from government point of view, The only discrimination even that time came from Islamic clerics(mullahs), we were living peacefully together and good friends with all of them.
Iran is the name which was in use even for 4000 years and more referring to all people of greater Iran you can find the name Iran as land of Arian in Avesta and in behiston even before Greeks called this country Persia, vision of Reza shah was to bring all of them back together as it was before invasion of Alexander and then Arabs.
