While I enjoy these bands, I am going to have to disagree with you on that people who dont like this, dont know music. music is personal taste, and lets be honest, cynic is a great band, but anywhere near as vital as Bach, Chopin, etc.. I could just as easily say that people who dont like them, dont know anything about music, but does that make me right?
