It really doesn't bother me in the slightest. Historically Kosovo has been part of the Ottoman Empire, not Part of Serbia. in WWI, Serbia invaded Kosovo along with parts of Montenegro. They were taken by force, and they have the right to leave if they want to.
And I see where you are coming from, bacause I am a Canadian. Quebec has always attempted sovreignty, but they have never won the ballot. If we were to lose that part of Canadian History so be it, they obviously want to leave.

Kosovo was a part of the ottoman empire, but it has never been albanian nor belonged to the albanians, it has always been statued on historically serbian territory and belonged to serbia before the ottomans invaded the balcans. Serbia never invaded kosovo, why would anyone invade something that is theirs?U can not compare canadian history to serbian as the serbian is much more rich. U got it all wrong, serbia didnt fight bosnia, bosnian serbs fought bosnian muslims and half of bosnia is serbian. In slovenia and macedonia there were no armed conflicts and remember that if JNA had intervened in Croatia the croats would never have succeded to ethnically cleanse 750 000 serbs without any weapons whatsoever. You know that everyone hated u in sfrj we all spoke the same language and have the same culture except for u animals u r the worst disgrace to human mankind.

Kosovo was serbian before the ottomans conquered the balcans and it has been serbian ever since they were defeated by the serbs. Well those are independent countries because they were states even under the sfrj, unlike kosovo which has always been a part of Serbia. Remember that 49%of the montenegrin population voted for staying with scg, they cant help that they have albos that are breeding like fucking rabbits like everywhere else. Serbia is still bigger than those countries together :)Soon it will be even bigger when RS joins.

Alright, I do disagree with the fact of Albania's involvement, they should stay out of it. However the history you discuss isn't considered much in this day and age. What we need to look at is the fact that the majority of them want to leave, and should have the right to do so. Do you really want a bunch of possibly violent rebels killing your people because of a sovereignty dispute? Letting Kosovo go will save many lives, both Serbian and Kosovoian.

No I dont but no one who threats ppl with violence should be rewarded by getting a state on behalf of a sovereign states territory, that would mean that threats and violence pays off. Recognizing kosovos independence will have a dangerous effect on countries where there are separatists that want to create a state cause if the albanians are granted a state why shouldn´t other ppl that are a majority in a certain part of a country or maybe just in a city get it?
